Today I dropped off Tyler for his first day of kindergarten. They changed it to full day this year so he stays until 2:30. I couldn't tell if he was excited or nervous. He was bluffing pretty well. I've got to admit, I've been pretty excited for this day to come. He's a ball of energy, and I was looking forward to having a place other than my house where he can channel it all. I did feel a little differently while dropping him off. I cried a little bit while I was leaving the school. You could tell that the teacher wanted us all out of there She told the kids to wave and the parents to leave. We'll see how the day went when I pick him up. He might not tell me too much.

Oh, Sheri! This is a hard day... I remember my fist day as a school kid's Mom. Not pretty. If I had make-up on (a rare thing) I am sure it was mascara everywhere! Update and let us all know how it went for you (and Tyler!).
Tyler looks so cute! I hope his first day went well!
Sheri--
WAY cute pic of Tyler!! I didn't get to talk to you at the park and see how it all went! Hope he is still liking it!
It's so fun having a school aged kid! He'll love it.
You made it! I am a mess and that day hasn't come yet. I know Brooklyn will be asking me why I am crying! It is just a hard thing to swallow. Our crazy little boys are growing up!
